Cranial LOOP wins Medical Design Excellence Award 2011
The jury of the competition, organized by UBM Canon, has recognized the innovation of the cranial fixation device.
The leading B-to-B media company UBM Canon has announced that NEOS Surgery’s Cranial LOOP has been awarded the Medical Design Excellence Award (see www.MDEAwards.com) in its 2011 edition.
The interdisciplinary jury of the award evaluates several aspects, including the use of innovative materials, the capacity to change traditional medical practices and the ability of the development team to overcome design and engineering challenges.
According to NEOS’ General Manager, Lluís Chico, this award “endorses the fine work we are doing with our projects”.
The Award ceremony will take place on June in New York City, along with UBM Canon’s Medical Design & Manufacturing East Conference and Exposition.
